The Beginning: 2021

 Hello, everyone!      Welcome to my blog. I'm Erika, a disabled activist, editor, poet, sociologist, and writer. I am Hungarian-American, fluent in French and English, and I am a recent UNC-CH graduate. I am an abuse survivor and started my journey as a disabled person at the age of 13, when I developed fibromyalgia, M.E., PCOS, and POTS. I spent half of 2019 exploring my Hungarian ancestry and studying abroad in France and Hungary. I traveled extensively through Canada, Europe, and the East Coast of the U.S.     I decided to create a blog because I haven't really had an outlet to advertise my writing, share poems, and write essays about events that surround us during a constantly shifting world affected by ableism, COVID-19, classism, climate change, politics, police brutality, racism, and more.
